The European Union Ambassador to Seychelles, Oskar Benedikt, has paid a courtesy call on the Seychelles Defence Forces (SDF) at the Integrated Defence Headquarters in Bel Eau.
Ambassador Benedikt met Chief of Defence Forces Major General Michael Rosette, together with Deputy Chief of Defence Forces Brigadier General Jean Attala and Chief of Staff Colonel Michael Hollanda.
Discussions focused on cooperation between the European Union and the SDF, particularly in maritime security. Both sides noted the importance of ongoing collaboration with EUNAVFOR in supporting safety and stability in Seychelles’ maritime zone and the wider Western Indian Ocean.
