
Seychelles welcomed 41,238 visitors in October 2025, marking a 17% increase compared to the same month in 2024. Of these arrivals, 85.4% visited for holidays, while 10.9% were repeat visitors.
The average stay was nine nights. Europe remained the leading market, accounting for 73.6% of total arrivals, followed by Asia with 15.9%. Germany led with 16.4% of all visitors, followed by France (12.2%), Russia (9.1%), the United Kingdom (6.6%), and Switzerland (5.6%).
Nearly all visitors (97.1%) arrived on commercial flights, with a small share (1.1%) traveling by private or chartered planes. Among repeat visitors, South Africa topped the list from Africa (50.4%), while the United Arab Emirates led in Asia (38.2%).

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the top reasons for visiting Seychelles in October were:

- Honeymoon
- Visiting friends
The tourism sector remains a cornerstone of Seychelles’ economy, and the 2025 data suggest that the industry is on track to surpass pre-pandemic levels; a promising sign for both local businesses and the broader economy.
