The Seychelles Ports Authority CEO and Deputy CEO departure has been confirmed, with Chief Executive Officer Sony Payet and Deputy Chief Executive Officer Philippa Samson leaving their positions at the organisation.
A short send-off ceremony took place on Tuesday 3 February 2026 at the SPA headquarters to mark their departure. The Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Board attended, together with members of management staff.
The event recognised the service and leadership of both officials during their tenure. Officials highlighted their role in the development and daily operations of the Authority. They also acknowledged their commitment and professionalism.
Board members and management expressed appreciation for their contributions. They extended best wishes for success in their future endeavours. Meanwhile, the Authority reaffirmed its commitment to continue building on the foundation established under their leadership.
The Seychelles Ports Authority thanked both Mr Payet and Ms Samson for their service as they leave their respective posts and wished them well in the next stage of their professional journey.
