Mein Schiff 4 Makes Maiden Call to Port Victoria, Marking Start of Cruise Season

The cruise vessel Mein Schiff 4 made its inaugural call at Port Victoria on Sunday, November 2, 2025, marking a significant milestone for Seychelles’ cruise tourism industry.

Owned and operated by TUI Cruises, Mein Schiff 4 is the latest addition to Seychelles’ growing list of visiting cruise liners, reinforcing the islands’ reputation as a premier cruise destination in the Indian Ocean.

The vessel, which can accommodate 2,700 passengers and 1,000 crew members, berthed at Port Victoria in the early hours of Sunday morning. Disembarking passengers were greeted with traditional Seychellois music and cultural performances, offering a warm and vibrant welcome to the islands.

During their short stay, visitors explored various parts of Mahé, with many touring the capital city, Victoria, and capturing photos at iconic landmarks such as the Clock Tower. Others took advantage of the opportunity to experience island-hopping excursions across the archipelago.

The Seychelles Ports Authority welcomed this new partnership with TUI Cruises, noting that it reflects Seychelles’ increasing appeal to global cruise operators and travelers seeking authentic island experiences.
