Prices in Seychelles changed only a little in November 2025, based on the latest monthly price report. Overall prices were almost the same as last year, with only a 0.02% increase.
Compared to October, prices went up slightly by 0.24% in November. This means some items became a little more expensive, while others became cheaper. Food prices showed mixed changes. The cost of some foods like fruits, vegetables, cooking oil, and soft drinks went up. At the same time, the price of fish went down, along with items such as milk, cheese, eggs, sugar, and some other food products.
Prices of non-food items also changed. Transport, furniture, alcoholic drinks, and entertainment became a little more expensive. However, the cost of housing, electricity, water, gas, communication services, and tobacco went down.
Looking at the past 12 months, food prices in the “Other Food” group increased by 2.24%. Fish prices dropped by 0.95%, while non-food items decreased by 0.29%. Core inflation, which does not include fresh fish and energy like fuel and electricity, stood at 0.64% in November.
The price report is based on thousands of prices collected each month from shops and service providers across Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue. It is used to track how the cost of everyday living changes over time.
