Customers in Seychelles will see higher prices this week as the Grocers price increase Seychelles takes effect. The wholesaler said the change will apply to products packaged in plastic containers, including bottles, spray bottles and jerry cans.
The company said the increase will affect items packaged in plastic containers. These include bottles, spray bottles and jerry cans. It described the adjustment as slight.
Grocers linked the change to higher global costs of plastic packaging materials. It said these costs have affected its suppliers.
In a statement, management said:
“With effect from shipments arriving this week, there will be a slight increase in the prices of items packaged in plastic containers, including bottles, spray bottles, jerry cans, and similar packaging.”
The company said it had delayed passing on the increases. However, it said the adjustment is now necessary.
“We have made every effort to absorb these increases for as long as possible. However, in order to continue supplying you with the quality products you expect from us, a small adjustment has now become necessary,” the statement said.
Grocers said it will continue to focus on pricing. It said it aims to offer competitive prices where possible. It also thanked customers for their support.
“We truly value your continued support and understanding,” management said.
