Air Seychelles has announced the launch of Air Seychelles nonstop flights to Paris, with three weekly services planned from 20 March 2026 for an initial one-month period.

The flights will operate between Seychelles and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. The airline says the route aims to strengthen air links between Seychelles and one of its key European markets.

The service will use a Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner through an agreement with Etihad Airways. The aircraft will allow the airline to operate long-haul flights while maintaining its operational and service standards.

The Boeing 787-900 will carry 290 passengers. It will include 28 Business Class seats and 262 Economy Class seats. Business Class passengers will have fully lie-flat seats. Economy Class will offer a layout designed for long-haul travel.

Paris is a major international gateway. Therefore, the new connection will give travellers from Seychelles direct access to France and wider Europe. The airline says the route may also support tourism, business travel, education and cultural exchange.

At the same time, the service will improve access for visitors travelling to Seychelles. Paris offers extensive onward connections across Europe, including from France, which remains one of Seychelles’ key tourism markets.

The Chief Executive Officer of Air Seychelles said the route reflects the airline’s focus on improving links with international markets.

“The introduction of non-stop flights to Paris marks an important milestone for Air Seychelles and for the country’s international connectivity, especially at this time,” the CEO said.

“France has always been a vital market for Seychelles, and this service will provide a convenient and comfortable travel option for both visitors and Seychellois travellers while supporting the continued growth of our tourism industry.”

The airline says the new route also comes as airspace closures in parts of the Middle East disrupt some traditional transit routes through Gulf hubs. As a result, a direct connection between Seychelles and Europe may provide passengers with another travel option.

Initially, the airline will operate three flights each week. However, the company says it may increase the service to four weekly flights depending on operational requirements and market demand.

Air Seychelles also acknowledged the role of President Patrick Herminie in supporting the launch of the route. It also thanked the Ministry for Transport, Ports and Civil Aviation and Seychelles Airports Authority for their collaboration.

Tickets are available through the airline’s website, guest contact centres on Mahé and Praslin, and travel agents.
