The fourth edition of Flanbwayan in Fleri has been released, delivering a seasonal mix of Christmas and New Year music through a new 12-track album. The album is a joint production between Seysound Studio’s Nabby Jules and Tropical Soundz’s Rudy Gendron.
It features a blend of newly recorded songs alongside remakes of familiar festive tunes. Several well-known local artists appear on the album, including Dave Pool, Jahrimba, Marthina Labrosse, Joseph Sinon, Mike Cedras and Ruben.
Newcomer Chloe Antat also features with her song Konprenezon Nwel, a soft reggae-style Christmas ballad. Musical styles across the album range from sega and reggae to dancehall and kanmtole, offering a varied soundtrack for the holiday season.
Mr Jules said he did not keep exact track of the production period but estimated that it took about two weeks to finalise the album for sale. The album is available in physical format on CD and pendrive, as well as on various online streaming platforms.
According to the producers, delivery is offered for those wishing to purchase an original copy. The album costs SCR150, depending on the preferred format.
