Committees of the 8th National Assembly met between 10 and 14 November 2025 to elect their chairpersons and vice-chairpersons. Nine committees have been established for the 2025–2030 legislative period.
The elected office bearers are:
- Scrutiny of Bills Committee: Chairperson Johan Loze; Vice-Chairperson Churchill Gill
- Standing Orders Committee: Chairperson Azarel Ernesta; Vice-Chairperson Egbert Aglae
- Finance and Public Accounts Committee: Chairperson Bernard Georges; Vice-Chairperson Churchill Gill
- Women Parliamentary Caucus: Chairperson Audrey Vidot; Vice-Chairperson Denise Clarisse
- International Affairs Committee: Chairperson Egbert Aglae; Vice-Chairperson Trevor Louise
- Media, Youth, Sports and Culture Committee: Chairperson Conrad Gabriel; Vice-Chairperson Rocky Uranie
- Committee on Government Assurance: Chairperson Philip Monthy; Vice-Chairperson Rocky Uranie
- House Committee: Chairperson Azarel Ernesta; Vice-Chairperson Egbert Aglae
- Committee on Defence and Security: Chairperson Audrey Vidot; Vice-Chairperson Wilbert Herminie
The elections confirm the leadership structure of the National Assembly committees for the new legislative mandate.
