
Mahe Shipping Company Limited will discontinue its involvement in the local handling of Speedaf and Aramex shipments. This change will take effect from 31 August 2026.
However, customers who shop on online platforms such as Shein and AliExpress can continue placing orders despite Mahe Shipping’s decision.
The company said it has formally notified the regional representatives of both courier networks about the decision. It added that the representatives are making arrangements for the continuation of the services in Seychelles.
Customers can continue using their usual online shopping platforms, according to Mahe Shipping. Moreover, the company said online shopping platforms will directly inform customers of any future changes to the collection, delivery or handling of e-commerce shipments.
In a statement, Mahe Shipping said the decision forms part of its strategic focus on its core logistics and maritime services.
The company said it continues to invest in and expand Freight forwarding by air and sea, Customs brokerage, Shipping agency services, Logistics and warehousing. Additionally, it continues to expand Express courier services, including UPS.
Meanwhile, Mahe Shipping said it will continue processing Speedaf and Aramex shipments up to and including 31 August 2026.
The company said parcels received before that date will be processed and delivered under normal procedures.
Customers can continue placing orders before 31 August 2026. However, Mahe Shipping advised customers to consider the estimated shipping and delivery timelines provided by the relevant platform or seller.
The company said services are expected to operate normally until 31 August 2026. However, it noted that higher shipment volumes may result in slightly longer processing and delivery times.
Mahe Shipping also said it remains fully operational and continues to provide freight forwarding, customs brokerage, shipping agency services, logistics and supply chain solutions. Furthermore, it also provides UPS Express courier services.
The company said it remains committed to Seychelles. Furthermore, it will continue supporting businesses and individuals through its logistics, freight and maritime services.
