The briefing covered expected improvements to workflow, public access, staffing requirements, training and ongoing efforts to strengthen border and identity services on the island.

On Friday, the Minister visited the Youth Offenders Facility, engaging with minors enrolled in rehabilitation programmes. Staff outlined current initiatives focused on behavioural development, education, vocational training and reintegration. The Minister encouraged the youths to remain committed to their progress and noted the role of rehabilitation in community safety.
