
Absa Bank Seychelles has donated printing supplies to the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development. This donation aims to support daily school operations across the country.
Earlier this week, the bank handed over 56 HP-compatible toners to help meet essential printing needs in primary and secondary schools. The donation also aims to support routine administrative and classroom activities.
Absa Bank Seychelles Managing Director Nazim Mahmood presented the items during a visit to the ministry. He was accompanied by Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs Marie Paule Samson. The donation was received by Minister for Education David Pierre. Moreover, Principal Secretary for General Education and Curriculum Dr Justin Zelime and Principal Secretary for Educational Support and Projects Bernard Arnephy also received the donation.
Speaking during the handover, the ministry welcomed the contribution and acknowledged continued support for the education sector. The ministry said such assistance helps improve learning environments for students across Seychelles.
Absa Bank said its community engagement is guided by inclusivity. The bank added that it remains committed to supporting initiatives that contribute to stronger and more resilient schools.
