Government Inspects Housing and Land Projects on Praslin

Senior government officials carried out site visits on Praslin to review housing and land developments, the ministry said.

On Saturday, 20 December, the Secretary of State for Lands and Housing, Joseph Francois, led visits in Baie Ste Anne, Praslin.

Alongside him, the Member of the National Assembly for Baie Ste Anne, Praslin, Churchill Gill, joined the inspections.

Meanwhile, the Principal Secretary for Inner Islands, Dennis Antat, accompanied officials from the Department of Lands and Housing.

During the visit, the delegation met residents to discuss housing and land-related concerns.

At the same time, officials reviewed ongoing works and examined progress on site.

Subsequently, the group discussed possible next steps and implementation timelines.

Earlier, on Friday, Mr Francois conducted similar inspections in Grand Anse, Praslin.

There, he was joined by the Member of the National Assembly for Grand Anse, Alvin Grandcourt.

Additionally, the District Administrator for Grand Anse, Chantal Laure, took part in the visits.

Together, officials toured housing projects, land bank developments, and other key sites.

According to the ministry, the visits aimed to assess progress and guide future planning.
